Position Overview:
The Executive Administrator is responsible for coordinating board functions, the Educator Alliance, handling Continuing Education (CE) credit processing, supporting USABP newsletter sends, coordinating with the marketing coordinator on various campaigns and initiatives, assisting in donation drives, contributing to conference planning, and having knowledge in the management of professional somatic healing training institutes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong administrative, accounting, communication skills, software knowledge and an understanding of somatic healing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Board Administration: Provide administrative support to the board, committee chairs, EABP journal interface, and board president, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, treasury reports (via bookkeeper), bi-law updates, and taking minutes, as needed.
  • Educator Alliance Coordination: Collaborate with educators to organize and facilitate events, application and renewal processes, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Continuing Education Credits: Manage the CE credits process for events, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and accurate record-keeping.
  • Newsletter Production: Assist in the creation and distribution of USABP newsletters, ensuring content accuracy and engagement with members.
  • Marketing Coordination: Work closely with the marketing coordinator to support and implement various marketing campaigns and initiatives on behalf of the organization.
  • Donation Drives: Assist in organizing and executing donation drives to support the organization's financial goals.
  • Conference Planning: Contribute to the planning and execution of conferences, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
  • Somatic Healing Knowledge: Utilize knowledge in the profession of somatic healing to support the organization's mission and activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting Background: Experience in financial management and bookkeeping.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in relevant software tools for administration, event management, and communication.
  • Web Development: Ability to work web teams, manage and update web content.
  • Social Media Skills: Experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
  • Administrative/Executive Support: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Somatic Healing Knowledge: Understanding of somatic healing practices and their application in the context of the organization's work.
